My bed of roses

This quilt has been back from my long arm quilter, Terry Finnerty, for a couple of weeks, patiently waiting for me to put on the binding and today was the lucky day! I have my own bed of roses!

The fabrics in both quilts are from two collections of Urban Chiks, one called Sweet, the other called Swell. That giant rose and polka dot border print is my favorite piece of both collections. Doesn't that clamshell quilting really jazz up this quilt? LOVE it!

This quilt will reside at the foot of my bed, the perfect addition to the full size bed quilt I made with these fabrics. Such a sweet and summery look!

I'm very happy with the gingham check binding.

All that great squishy texture - love it!

Why did I wait so long to get the binding on?   Finished is so much better!

happy stitching-
