Now I still have to sew them all together but I know that will be fun because as I assemble this top I'll get to look at some of my favorite novelty prints like this adorable sock monkey...
and this polka dot pony...
and this cool sewing machine - I love that lime green color...
and this cute cat...
and driving in his pickle car...
I can't wait to get this one to the quilter. Hope your week has some sewing time too!
Happy stitching-

Looks great and I love the blocks you have in the photos, really cute fabrics.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cheerful trip! The fussy cut squares are a special treat.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, Carol, this is delightful. I am quite smitten with it. The novelty prints all play so well together. Gotta say I love the pickle car. LOL
ReplyDeleteWonderful! I love the way you've planned the placement and still kept it really scrappy.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you included some fussy cut novelty prints in the quilt. Those always make quilts so much fun.

How cute What a fun quilt.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like such a fun quilt. Makes one smile.
ReplyDeleteYou have been sewing up a storm - its gorgeous. I love how all of those colors just scream 'party' and then as you look closer at the individual fabrics, you get to walk down memory lane. Such fun fabrics!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I want a polka dot pony!
ReplyDeleteFun, fun, fun!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your bright colors!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful quilt. I loved the bright colors from a distance and then when you showed the close-ups it was even more fun.
ReplyDeleteGreat setting! Those are really fun prints. Lime green sewing machines rock :)
ReplyDeleteI love it!! Just gorgeous, and I like how the squares are scrappy, vs. carefully planned out. Scrappy is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYour Scrappy Trip looks fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteI'm about 20 blocks behind you! Took it to the sew in this past Saturday and 5 or 6 people are starting their own this week. Love those Richard Scarry prints!
ReplyDeleteScrappy trip while I spying-such fun. I have a friend who is doing this scrappy pattern too. I sent your site to her so she can see yours.
ReplyDeleteThat's beautiful! I love all of the yellows, and the fun prints hiding in the squares.
ReplyDeleteI am still working on my batik one. I love yours and I would like to make one like it after I finish the batik one.
ReplyDeleteI love this trip! Tell me how you made your strip blocks so the design came out that way. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteThat Richard Scary takes me back to when my son,who turns 40 next month, was a little boy!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blocks.
ReplyDeleteGreetings, Manuela
Oh what fun!
ReplyDeleteI love it. How I miss looking at Richard Scary books. In fact, I found one last week in the basement the Lowly Worm sniffy book. The cover was missing and all the scratch and sniff parts were all worn off. Sigh, good memories.
ReplyDeleteLove it!
