Patriotic Panache on a Slow Sunday...

Hello all... have you been keeping cool?  It has been a real struggle here in SW Ohio... we had 2 rain days last week but it was a very minute amount of precipitation... and right now I am sooooo tired of watering... I don't mind watering the flowers so much but I've been trying to keep the grass from turning brown and I'm not having a ton of success... supposedly there are a couple of chances for rain next week... fingers crossed and saying my prayers...

As for crafty stuff, well, I'm in a funk... I put a few stitches in 5 or 6 pieces last week ...bouncing around... I'm torn between doing seasonal stitching... Melisa at Pinker N Punkin Quilting posted 2 patriotic pieces that I really like... go check out her blog here.... you won't be disappointed ... she has so many cute things she shares... and  then along with the BIG samplers I showed last week there are a  couple of intermediate size projects I released from their plastic pouches for a brief moment or two... they still have my heart too... I just can't find the mojo and stamina to stay on one project, but I really want to FINISH something... and I'm debating whether to pack away my current seasonal stitching and jump ahead to Fall or Christmas... I have several partial stitched pieces from last year and other interesting charts I've acquired since then... and I really should get into my crafty room and organize the charts I've dumped in a basket ...

I didn't turn on my sewing machine again this week... I did get some more hexagons cut out of my Debbie Mumms but I have a loooong way to go on that quilt... and if I stand too long cutting stuff out my knees end up bothering me. I've tried cutting fabric sitting down but the angle is just off for me. I know I'm doing lots of kvetching here... I'd blame it on the dog days of Summer but that is suppose to be the end of the season, not the start... I've spent way too much time sitting in my recliner on the sunroom porch in front of a fan and scrolling mindlessly through the internet... I know it is a waste to time... sigh... I need a re-set!

Okay let's move onto something more creative and interesting ... 4th of July is Thursday and these are my displays... here's the small shelf unit .... lots of patriotic stitching  and knickknacks here...

From the top moving left to right...  Stars & Stripes from Blackbird Designs and Colonel Sammy, a freebie from Notforgotten Farms.

another small quilt on the table top stand ... this time a flag with Debbie Mumm fabrics and yes ALL of my patriotic quilty pieces are sewn exclusively with Debbie Mumm fabrics... I LOVED her stuff for years and years and  years and I still do! The eagle on the left side is a snippet from Summer in Baltimore by  WTN&T and the sampler eagle is a from the chart called Eagle by Sheepish Designs.  Check out Kitten Stitcher for some older Sheepish Design charts... I've picked up several there.

Middle shelf has  Star Spangled Spectacular from WTN& T and Liberty  from Birds of a Feather... love those high stepping fellows! And the flag waving gal is a snippet from  Hurrah! by Pineberry Lane.

Bottom shelf starts off with the Double Eagle Sampler from Prairie Schooler  then another WTN&T piece, a snippet from  Liberty Dwells (do you see a trend here... I'm big on stitching just a piece of lots of charts... I chalk it up to my short attention span...LOL)...

and the shelf finishes up with  Lizzie Kate's Yankee Doodles.

Moving around the room,  there is the little bump out with my matching chairs from the now defunct Pier 1 and the piecrust tier table I got in a thrift store and paid more for the paint I used on it than I paid for the table... I have coordinating flag quilts each done all in Debbie Mumm fabrics...

and on the tier table the Farmyard Parade  from With Thy Needle & Thread with a patriotic chicken I made years ago with more Debbie Mumm fabric.  You can never have too much Debbie Mumm!!

Here is the big shelf display...

from the top Welcome Summer from The Drawn Thread... this was the first one of the series that I stitched... I've got Fall and Winter but still haven't gotten around to doing Spring... some day... some day...

July from Prairie Schooler... and a freebie from Samplers & Santas called Liberty Star...

mounted on the cheese grater is Libby by Heart and Hand... I'm pretty sure I got this finishing idea from Priscilla of Stitching with the Housewives and I love how different it is!

The middle two shelves...

On the pedestal is a chart from the  Blackbird Designs book called Souvenirs of Summer... it has been re-released and you can find it here... in the truck bed and the Uncle Sam on the 2 tier stand are pieces from Red, White & Bloom by WTN&T.   Liberty was a freebie from Lizzie Kate that I got off of Pinterest.

Flag Folk is from Pineberry Lane... and as I do will all the prim pieces I definitely brighten this one up!

That bottom shelf is filled with female pretties... first off is Grand Olde Flag by WTN&T... it is mounted on a cookbook stand I picked up at Target Dollar Spot years ago and I painted it navy blue... in the back of the tricycle is another piece from WTN&T book Red, White & Bloom  and leaning against the tricycle is a snippet from Sheepish Designs Betsy.

Oh in the front basket of the tricycle is a tiny little flag waving girl from the Eagle Chart by Sheepish Designs... I like doing the tiny little pieces and they are fun to tuck into the displays... and this last pieces is a total stitch of Hurrah from Pineberrry Lane.

I currently have 2 other patriotic pieces started... but I don't think they'll get finished this year. I will probably leave my patriotic stuff up till mid July as it has been out since early June... I have some Summer chicken stuff I'll get out for a bit of July and August and then move onto my FAVORITE season Fall!  Already longing for cooler days...

I still have a couple of  patriottic pieces to FFO and I'd love to stitch one the most recent charts from Melisa. I was going to start the other day but when I pulled out the Aida I had picked up at Michaels I was deeply disappointed in the fabric... stiff and thin... yucky... not going to spend all that time stitching on inferior fabric... I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday and picked up 3 packages of the 16 ct Aida I like... don't want to run out again... and I want to get the bindings on the quilts I picked up 2 weeks ago ... and I have a  pair of capri pants I want to get hemmed ... it is no fun being short when it comes to buying clothes... and I'd like to get more hexagons cut out for the Debbie Mumm quilt and I think I'm going to pull out the Christmas quilt I started last December and work on it... a bit of Christmas in July... perhaps that will help lift me out of this funk...

I was looking at my stats and as of this post I've done 26... I only did 28 in ALL of 2023...now this is no where near the 150 I use to do when I started this blog... and I scratch my head and wonder how I did it... I had 2 boys who took up the bulk of my time, I volunteered and did all the housework stuff and still found time to be more productive where crafty stuff was concerned.. I know I'm getting old...I walk slower and things just take longer to accomplish... I have more free time but seem to have less to show for it... too many distractions on the internet... that's what I'm blaming it on, but really it is just me doing way more vegging out than I should.

I'll link  with Kathy's Quilts today... only a couple of things on my calendar for next week... Elliott and a hair cut ... and I should go get the oil changed in the car... been putting it off... Nick and I plan to spend the 4th of July at home... there will be plenty of fireworks to see from our front yard... the neighbors 2 streets over have been setting off stuff for over a week already...

I hope you have a good holiday ... maybe a picnic... I really would like some homemade potato salad and a brat... need to make that happen...

Something old, somethings new, nothing borrowed and something blue on a Slow Sunday...

Hello... today I'm going to talk about something old, somethings new, nothing I've borrowed and something blue... and it has NOTHING to do with a wedding so get that right out of your pretty little head... I'm going to talk about my cross stitching so far this year... I know there is another week or so left in this month but it definitely feels like 6 months have passed... and on one hand days have flown by, but weeks have taken their time.

In looking back I have finished some lovely pieces this year if I do say so myself, and I do... but I have also started  a significant (for me) number of BIG projects... and the Catholic guilt in me has me thinking about circling back and perhaps finishing one or two of them... BUT and that it s BIG BUT... it didn't stop me from starting ANOTHER BIG PROJECT this week... hanging my head... I have no self control... good thin I'm not into drugs, alcohol or gambling... I'd be toast...LOL... and we aren't going to speak of my issues with fabric and flowers at the moment...

OK... let me start with some old... something very very old... like a decade old... I was showing some charts to a friend and we got to talking about Rosewood Manor... I LOVE so many of Karen Kluba charts and she has a ton... and in perusing my stash I found this project in a rumpled ziploc bag and why did I stop stitching on this? Excuse the wrinkles...

This is Quaker Diamonds ...it is a BIG piece... it is on an unknown piece of I think,  28 ct. evenweave , and it is a lovely rosy brown... I think the Valdani threads really pop on this... now I checked back on the blog (and boy I'm glad I have this history of what crazy stuff I've gotten into) and I found that I dyed this piece of fabric... I have no recollection of that ... it appears I used Cocoa Brown Rit dye... and I started this back in April of 2012... and at one point I almost stitched in the date 2013 as I thought I would finish it that year... ROFL and laughing and laughing. That means this has been hanging around for 12 years... sheesh... anyway I did put some time in on this and it may be  a BIG one I can finish this year... my plan right now is to give this one some attention once a week.

Let's more onto something new... I stitched these adorable little spools from Crafty Bluebonnet  on some bright mottled yellow...

and a close up...

I  need to get them FFO'd.. just going to be simple little pillows... I did stitch the "spool" part as satin stitches instead of cross stitches... I like the bit of dimension. Oh do check out her Etsy ... she has lots of other cute spools that I'd like to add to my stash...

And then there is this guy... I was scrolling through Etsy and well he just buzzed past me... this is Bee's Knees by Notforgotten Farms...ain't he the cutest little bee?

and a  close up...

I loves me a creature wearing clothes... so spiffy... and I don't think I've stitched any bee stuff before but I thought he'd be cute in my Summer/garden display... you can't have flowers without bees...  I need to see if I have a small frame I can pop him into, or I'll make him into a little pillow.

Moving onto intermediate projects... not OLD but only slightly new... those started this year and have been tucked into lovely storage envelopes for a little nap... first there is Summer Schoolhouse by With Thy Needle and Thread... this was a Leap Year Day start ... and it got some attention of a couple of weeks ... but not very long...

I started this with Judy from the Patchwork Times and Denise from Just Quiltin'... Denise is just about finished ... check it out here... and as far as I can tell Judy has a small start, but she had planned to work on it here and there... so I'm somewhere between the two... this one requires thinking as I'm making changes in almost every section... and lots of times I don't want to do any thinking when I'm stitching, so this is gonna take a  while.

Another BIG project from this year  was Teresa Kogut's Faith, Hope, Peace and Love...  I started this the beginning of April and I lost interest before the month was over... sheesh... my attention span seems to be shrinking with each passing day...

it is pretty... and I will say that the pictures I'm posting today are a really good capture of the colors of the linens I've dyed. I have a terrible time with my Iphone  ... it has a particularly hard time with greens and I seem to do a lot on green linen.  Anyway this is one where I'm not making any changes to the motifs but I am using my own selection of floss colors and it requires some thinking... not as much as Summer Schoolhouse... but enough to tax my little pea brain some days...

And wait... like that Ginsu knife commercial.. there's more... Pennsylvania German Stocking by Carriage House Samplings...

love the color I painted the linen... love the flosses I chose... only 4 colors... easy motifs some of which are mirror images and easy repeats... minimal thinking... OMG... I started this less than 3 weeks ago... worked on if for about 2 days... then some other shiny thing popped up and bam! it finds itself  napping ...like I said... rapidly decreasing attention span...

And to wrap this us... Something Blue... another BIG project... this is Red Rhapsody from Rosewood Manor... and yes your eyes aren't deceiving you there is nothing red about my version...

I dyed the linen with Sage Rit dye... its a new color as far as I can tell  and I LOVE IT!!  It is a dusty turquoise, and while the other pics on this post came out true to color this one is a bit off... but it it very pretty and I love how mottled the fabric is... the floss I found for this is called Something Blue from Gentle Arts... I love that there is quite a bit of variation in this floss ...that's what I was looking for... I want some areas to stand out and others to be "ghosty"...    As you can see I haven't gotten real far but we all know how happy a new start makes us feel...

As for being more focused...well... not sure it is going to happen... I keep thinking I should take a break from seasonal pieces and concentrate on some of these BIG pieces I've already started ... and we aren't even going to delve into some to the BIG samplers I started last year... they are quietly snoozing... so maybe... just maybe I will shift my focus and confine my seasonal stitching to one or two smalls ... after I put away the patriotic stuff I want to get out my chickens and gardening stuff... decisions, decisions.

As for sewing I haven't gotten a thing done this last week. I brought home 2 quilts from Delinda... got the big one trimmed and realized I don't have enough of any one fabric to do the binding, so I need to make a scrappy binding... I started but that's as far as I got. Elliott didn't want to play downstairs on Tuesday... he wanted to sit out on the sunroom porch with is robot toys so I let him...I did get a little cross stitching in that day... we'll see what this coming week brings...

Like lots of other places in the US it has been HOT HOT HOT here in southwest Ohio... upper 90's and no rain... so glad I had my AC unit replaced last month... every day I see AC repair company trucks in my neighborhood... even on a Sunday...  I probably should water morning and evening but I've just been doing it in the evening... and I even broke down and got out the sprinklers for the grass... I HATE watering the grass... my yard is so irregularly shaped that I end up watering the sidewalk as much as the grass...  I shudder to think what my electric bill and my water bill are going to be this month... the meters are spinning like slot machines... and I ain't a winner. Fingers crossed for some rain today and maybe mid week.

Got lots of stuff on my calendar next week that has me out of the house ... probably won't get much done and I'm in the mood to just work on whatever is the easiest ... both of those samplers from Rosewood Manor fill that bill... and I'm pretty sure there are a couple of new things from 123Stitch that will be making an appearance in my mail slot... I have no restraint...LOL ... but it sure is fun to get happy mail!!

I'll link up with Kathy's Quilts... I hope that wherever you are the temperatures are lower than what they are here ... it seems too early to be this hot... and yet I know we've been this way before...  and there isn't much I can do to change it today...

Trying to catch my breath on a Slow Sunday...

Hello - well I said it was going to be a busy week but somehow that didn't really sink in until I was in the middle of it... and it left little time to get crafty stuff done...I think this week I can catch my breath...  I'm still doing some patriotic stitching that I'd  like to have complete and put into my displays by July 4th... I started 2 new pieces ... one small and one with a LOT of solid stitching...a BIG house with an alphabet, which I do adore... we shall see if it is a finish for this July 4th or next July 4th....and I have plans to sew... have 2 quilts that need bindings and 1 or  2 or more quilts I'd like to play with...

I did get the green bow ties sewn together and taken to Delinda to be quilted...

I like how this turned out... and I posted on IG that this is a FREE quilt... no new fabric was purchased to complete this top ... and in fact some of the fabric is old old old... old enough that it could have voted for Clinton... Bill not Hillary... LOL... several people on IG remembered some of these vintage Jinny Beyer's...

and others had the same fond memories I have of getting fabric off of the flat fold tables at Hancock's in Paducah when the flat fold tables had bargains galore... sigh... those were the days... the last time I went to Paducah (which has been a while ago) the flat fold tables were kinda pitiful and they were definitely pushing their shelves of precuts...now I'm a BIG fan of precuts but they don't hold a candle to the allure of pawing through a pile of fabric!

I picked up 2 quilts from Delinda... and I'm working on getting the bindings on them... I want the one on my bed ASAP... it is cool and summery looking and with the temperatures getting into the 90's ...yes the 90's ... every day this coming week I'll be longing for cool .... I'm feeling very virtuous that I got my new AC installed last month... it  is going to get a work out...

The gardens are looking great right now... however twice daily watering is in my future with the soaring temps... here are a couple of dahlias I'm loving...

My displays are shaping up nicely... I was able to FFO both of the saltbox houses from Pinker n Punkin Quilting.. Freedom House and Sarah Jane's 1776 ... gosh they are so good!!!  ...and the little Uncle Sam from Stitching with the Housewives' Proud to be an American...

some pictures... front...

back...

and a solo...

Here they are in my tier tray...

And here is the BIG picture... I do love that quilt with the big eagle and the bunting... again Debbie Mumm does great patriotic!!

I'm loving this little 2 shelf insert in my TV cabinet...

up top is a freebie from Notforgotten Farm... you can find it here... the cutest little Lady Liberty (got her a year or so ago at Michaels) and Free and Brave from The Drawn Thread... I popped this into a new frame this year... the red was perfect right out of the packaging...

below is another freebie, this one  from La-De-Da ... you can find it here.. and a snippet from Lady Liberty by  Chessie and Me.... you can see it here... I subbed in a chicken for the cat she always includes.

Now with that scorching forecast for the upcoming week I think I'll be hunkering down in my underground lair... aka my basement sewing room... like I said,  there are several tops I'd like to play with but right now this one has taken center stage...

okay last week I thought I would set these giant ... 8.5"... hexagons side by side... but after looking at them for a while I wasn't digging it... all smoooshed together they just looked mushy... I want each and every one of them to shine as I am pretty much fussy cutting each and every one of them... so I'm going with this tried and true hexagon format... easy to sew together and I'm using some of my cherished and hoarded favorite Debbie Mumm fabrics... the bees!! oh how I love this print...  it will be the triangles around every hexagon... I had it in every color way but several are now just small pieces...I have some yardage of it on the beige and I'm going to break down and use it... I ain't getting any younger... if I don't use it now it may never get put in a quilt...sigh... my plan for this is a double bed sized quilt... according to my calculations ( and you all know my math skills aren't stellar) is I need 105 hexagons... I'm thinking 5 color families... red, blue, green, yellow/orange, brown/black... Debbie had tons of reds and blues to it will probably skew that way ... and I'm really  not sure how many of the black ones I want, but one or two of the Halloween ones are super cute... it will be fun to go through my many many many bins of Debbies... refolding them and returning them to their plastic holding pens...not so much... we shall see how long my enthusiasm holds out on this one... LOL

As I type this on Saturday the upcoming week looks less crazy than last week was... fingers crossed that it works out that way... I know I'm old because the things I thought were punishment when I was young like staying home and taking naps... those are the things I really LOVE now...  I hope that the week ahead is a good one for you too... I know many of us are going to be sweating... so stay hydrated... be cool...

I'll link up with Kathy's Quilts and Quilting is more fun than Housework .... I'll be out watering early and then I'm headed for the basement

In a mood on a Slow Sunday...

Hello - well another week where it was Thursday before I felt like I got anything accomplished... and I can't even blame it on 3 doctor appointments because in the end I only had 2... the one got rescheduled  by the doctor's office...but I'm in a  mood...it seems like just when I get one body part to calm down and behave another body part decides it needs my immediate attention.

I was able to get a steroid shot in both of my knees on Monday... then my right hip decided it wasn't happy... as of typing this, hips and knees have negotiated a truce ... things have calmed down ... trip to the eye clinic resulted in needing to schedule additional appointment with a retinal specialist...concern is for macular degeneration... another thing to worry about ... and I'm a world class worrier... my teeth have been bothering me on and off... probably from stressing and clenching...  it is any wonder I just want to lose myself in something crafty...

And as for the crafty... I stitched this little guy ... he's a snippet, barely 2" tall  on 16 ct Aida,  from Stitching With the Housewives chart Proud to be an American... you can see it here...

and then I moved onto this new chart from Threadwork Primitives called Patriotic Pear... you can find it here...

I like this one a lot... it is done on 32 count fabric which is my favorite count to stitch on... I've made all the blocks of 4 stitches Smyrna  crosses...  I only have a bit more in the bottom left corner to stitch and then a band of bunting to finish it off... and I know just where I'm going to put it in my displays.

Speaking of displays, I did get Spring put away and got out the red white and blue... okay Nick actually got it out of the basement and into the living room... I couldn't do it without him... and I set about arranging stuff... now I always think I need more, but as I was putting stuff out I'm not sure that is a true statement. However,  a couple of new charts are on my radar ... you can see them here and here and here so I need to figure out where to squeeze more in... I am not a minimalist ... LOL

I did get one thing FFO'd... this is the Double Eagle Sampler from Prairie Schooler No.8 American Primitives ...

Simple finish... I still want to do the other charts from this pattern... I think they will be little pillows.

As for sewing... well I changed my mind about the orientation of the flag quilt I had on my design wall ... I decided I want to display this on the back of the couch....

and here is this top on the back of the couch... and now I realize it could have been smaller... could have cut the blocks  5" or 5.5" instead of 6" ... oh well...

need to get this to Delinda for quilting ... I already know the panto and the thread I want to use... and it was fun to play with my Debbie Mumm fabrics!

Outside the gardens are filling in nicely as long as I can keep the deer at bay... that display of verbena I showed last week has gotten trimmed a bit... I need to be more vigilant in spraying the bad smelling stuff on it.   Here is a gorgeous dahlia that's in bloom... it is over 6" in diameter...

this is one I left in the ground... I swear those do the best for me... the ones I baby don't always reward me with such beautiful blooms.... oh well... this one is about 6 inches across and I can see if from my chair out on the screen porch...

And  here is one of the 5 window boxes... I think this one looks the best...those pale yellow petunias are so pretty...

try to ignore that tall  canna... it is planted in the pot below the box and I hate cutting back anything that is really growing even if it does distract your eye a bit.

And remember when I had my giant raised bed dismantled and new raised beds assembled, because the neighbors were putting up a fence?  Well it finally got installed last week and I must say I really like it!!

Very attractive looking and it gives some boundaries  to my yard ...which I  plan to take advantage of... here is how the 3 raised beds look at the moment...

full of flowers and I like the pavers around the edges... well with the fence up it wouldn't look out of place for MORE raised beds... and I am LOVING that idea... I've been teasing my older son that I was going to buy the house on the other side of me and appropriate the back yard for more raised beds... LOL... the neighbors aren't interested in going anywhere so this is just a pipe dream... but the fence has given my dreams of total garden domination new life... and to that end I've already purchased 3 more raised beds... LOL I have NO self control... now I jumped on them as they were on sale on Amazon, $20 less a piece than what I paid for the other 3... and my fear is that if I  waited till next Spring I might not be able to get  the same design... soooo, they are sitting in my garage as I type this. I broached the subject of adding 3 more raised beds to the kid that put them together... it was NOT his favorite project... in fact he told me that there are only about 3 people in the world he would have done this for... his mom, his grandma and me... so I'm quite lucky. He proposes we do it next Spring... and that is a good idea... its a little late to be planting up things right now... and I can  use the winter to plot and plan about all the stuff I want to plant!

Now yesterday I was still in a mood ... Elliott was here for a couple of hours as his parents had things to do that were more quickly accomplished without his assistance... and after he left I started to piddle with the green bow tie blocks... I needed to made 32 more... and what do you know?  I did!!  and it really lifted my mood... here they are on my design wall...

Sixty four different greens... from chartreuse to olive to forest green and every shade between... NO new fabric was purchased for this quilt... everything came from my stash... it is a FREE quilt!!...  and more than a few of the blocks are fabrics that are at least 35 years old... there are several Jinny Beyer's and some Debbie Mumm's and at least one block had Cranston Fabrics in the selvedge... do they even make fabric anymore?  Now I didn't fuss too much in pinning these on my design wall... and I'm pretty happy with the distribution of tones... sooooo if I sew 2 rows together, today, tomorrow, Tuesday and Wednesday I should have this top ready to take to Delinda's on Thursday... I already put aside two dotty prints for the back... again FREE fabric!!

Not sure what I will work on next...  and there is the barely started Tilda spools that could use some attention...  and a new pattern I bought online that uses a jelly roll that looked like fun... and 2 Christmas quilts I want to do... and a Halloween one... and an idea I have rattling around in my head for a giant hexagon quilt... I got the idea from this picture which is from IG ... it is some filter or template  where you can enlarge a pic of a quilt or cross stitch or whatever and make it the background...

now I was thinking of hexagons made from a layer cake... I know how to make the large hexagons as 2 pieces but that's not the look I want... I want seamless hexies... I searched and googled a bit looking for patterns with big hexies and then I got to thinking some more and remembered that years ago (it was about a decade actually) I bought a big ruler that cut hexagons and half hexagons... so I went into my stash of rulers (I've rarely met a specialty ruler I didn't like) and found it... it is this one called Hex N More by Jaybird Quilts and you can cut an 8.5" hexagon with it...

I had to see if my idea would work, so I cut a 10" square of this Debbie Mumm print that was hanging out on my cutting table.... oooooohhh.... I like this... I like this a lot... so a cut a couple more ...

This would also be a FREE quilt as I still have a HUGE stash of Debbie Mumm fabrics...  somehow I think this idea is going to  get me into trouble...LOL... being that they are large blocks  I should be able to assembled them by machine if I marked where the "corners" would be... ok... now to find some time  to cut more BIG hexagons and to play with this idea...

Well those sewing adventures definitely put me in a better mood... fabric therapy... it is a good thing!

So when I started to think about the upcoming week I thought it was going to be pretty quiet... Elliott on Tuesday and my quilty lady friends on Wednesday for lunch... and then I went and looked at my paper calendar, do you still keep a paper calendar?  and I now realize that I have an appointment  to see Delinda on both Thursday and Nick needs a ride to the Kings Island amusement park on Friday... sheesh...  I definitely need to be productive on Monday... and perhaps Elliott will give me some sewing time on Tuesday...need to entice him down to the basement....perhaps a new small Lego set... I have several stashed in my closet... I am not above bribery...LOL

I hope your upcoming week is a good one... I'll link up with Kathy's Quilts and Quilting Is More Fun than Housework... .. and see what I can do today ... maybe get those little stitched house from Pinker n Punkin FFO'd... or play with the BIG hexie idea... need to stay creative and hold onto this better mood!

happy stitching-
