Ok- it all started when I tried to delete one blog from my blog list. I got this warning message that a particular blog contained malware. Soooooo, I thought I'd delete it so as not to infect me or anyone else. Somehow Blogger deleted my ENTIRE blog list and after banging my head on the wall for about an hour I got my blog list back. Now I'm getting the malware message when ever I try to access a blog that has content from Amy's Creative Side. Is anyone else getting this? I'm also wondering if any of you are getting the malware message when you come to my blog. Of course I'm hesitant to go to Amy's blog and I wonder if she even knows. I'm leery because yesterday I got the blue screen of death. It hasn't happened in a while so I wasn't too worried and I restarted without any problems. And I just realized that if you got the malware message on my blog you probably haven't read this far. Argghh - Blogger is not fun.
carol fun (but I am! really I am!)
I got here and didn't see any message!
ReplyDeleteAll is good here so far. So sorry the cyber-demons are after you.
ReplyDeleteI got here and didn't get a malware message.
ReplyDeleteYou're good Carol! I did get a malware message on another blog I love to read but apparently others can access and leave comments fine there. But now I can't read that blog because I am scared of my computer going kaput. I have no patience for fixing computer problems!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if this will help your situation, but I would do a System Restore to maybe a week ago - before you had an issue. That has worked for me for various problems, many times. Then do a scan, then look so see what your Anti-Virus has found.
ReplyDeleteI look at mine periodically and am happy so find very few -- it seems my provider has stopped most of them. (knock on Wood!)
I think you are OK, but I went to check on Amy's site & Mozilla blocked it, saying it has been identified as an attack site, one that steals personal info. I hope someone knows how to get a hold of her & let her know that her blog has been compromised. I won't go there again unless I read an all clear elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks fine on your blog, Carol. Computer things just drive me mad--I fell for a "click here to remove this virus" type of thing a few years back and it really messed my computer up badly. Thank goodness my oldest son is a computer consultant--he has rescued so many of us through the years!!
ReplyDeleteSorry you are having troubles. Things are fine here and I haven't encountered any problems, but I haven't had time to read many blogs lately.
